At Cache Horse, we are not here to collect, use or sell data on you or your users.

Data collected from the service

We do not collect any user data whatsoever. We do however use server logs – logs are used to let us know about how our service is being used. No information beyond this is needed to operate the service and therefore is not communicated.

The data requested from 3rd party APIs on your behalf are stored in a database for the duration you have requested (referred to internally as a TTL - time-to-live value).

Web forms on our website

When you enter personal details in the Contact page, we will store this information for the purposes of replying to your query.

When you enter personal details (name, email) upon registration for Cache Horse, we will store that data in our database for functional purposes. We do not store payment details.

Cookies

Cookies are used only to identify the currently authenticated user.

3rd party vendors

We use several 3rd party services to aid with some features of our site.

SimpleAnalytics.com

Simple Analytics is used for some basic statistics information regarding incoming traffic. Simple Analytics does not use cookies, and does not track you beyond the fact that you landed on our site. Please see their privacy policy and document explaining what they collect for more information.

Paddle.com

Paddle is our merchant of record, used to receive payments from paid subscriptions for Cache Horse. Users who pay for our plans are directed to Paddle’s checkout widget to enter payment details.

In order to process and identify transactions and subscriptions, we must provide Paddle with some basic information about the paying user: we use an email address to identify the user in both our own database, and in Paddle’s systems.
